Literanta

One of my essentials whenever I visit a city is snooping its book shops. It is one of this pleasures that I always try to satisfy. In Palma you can visit more bookshops than one would imagine, considering that it is a rather small city, and this really honours it. In a more and more digital world, it is like a miracle that these bastions of the printed word still resist. One of these fighting roosters is Literanta. Bookshop-café, insignia of Palma’s intelligentsia and place of pilgrimage of tourists/visitors with pedigree. Literanta’s captains are Marina, Sergio and Antoni, a trio that has managed with wisdom the business of book selling. The place is an oasis for people who loves books. Walking around the bookshelves, enjoying a cup of tea under the watchful eye of Kafka, Pessoa or Salinger (whose old portraits hang from some of the walls) or looking at the fabulous Majorcan patio through the windows becomes a compulsory experience if you visit Palma and books really are your thing. Literanta organises plenty of activities, from book presentations to writing workshops. Located in Fortuny street, just behind Sta Eulàlia square, it is one of the hidden gems of the old town and an absolute must.Watch Full Movie Streaming Online and Download
